They grew up in a family with a long winemaking history in La Morra, both hold degrees in oenology, both have worked abroad, and they still work alongside their father and uncle. The vineyards they look after include Torriglione, which their grandfather planted a few years before he died. In 2021 they also bought the hilltop farmhouse next to their sand-dominant vineyard at the very top of La Morra.
