Pascal Marchand, the Québécois who made his name resurrecting Comte Armand's Clos des Épeneaux and then converting Domaine de la Vougeraie to biodynamics, has run this house with fellow Canadian Moray Tawse since 2011. Everything is hand-harvested from biodynamically farmed parcels, and the reds are built for transparency rather than extraction. Harvest here began on 9 September in 2023 and ran three weeks; this finished at a modest 12.5% alcohol. Beaune premier cru is where the Côte de Beaune gives you perfume and red fruit rather than muscle - drink this over the next five to ten years.\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"T.
