Following his mentor's tradition, Manley co-ferments fruit from several distinct sites into one unified Barolo: holdings adjacent to Ginestra (Monforte), Pernanno (Castiglione Falletto), Vignane and Coste di Rose (Barolo), and the edge of Vigna Rionda (Serralunga). Fruit arrives as each parcel ripens and is added to the running ferment in concrete; the wine then spends 32-34 months in traditional botti.
