{"product_id":"mastroberardino-taurasi-radici-riserva-2015","title":"Mastroberardino, Taurasi Radici Riserva, 2015","description":"If you want to know what Taurasi is meant to be, go to the house that kept it alive. Mastroberardino is the appellation's historic reference point, and the Radici Riserva is its flagship. The wine comes from a single vineyard at the top of the family's Montemarano estate, in the southernmost part of the Taurasi DOCG: stony, chalky clay facing south-east, on an estate that climbs from 500 to 650 meters. Up there, warm days and cold nights slow ripening so much that the Aglianico is usually not picked until November. That late harvest gives the wine fine tannins, firm acidity and a long life. Until the 1990s the Mastroberardinos were almost alone in Irpinia in defending its native grapes, and much of the region's standing today is Antonio Mastroberardino's doing. The 2015 now has a decade behind it, and it's a serious, structured southern Italian red for anyone who loves Barolo and wants to see what Aglianico can do.","brand":"Acker Merrall \u0026 Condit [AC]","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":50633650929721,"sku":"NYC-A-ACKDYNAM1026-100226-92-3","price":99.99,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0125\/1518\/0601\/files\/Mastroberardino-Taurasi-Radici-Riserva-2015-Red-Wine-Flatiron-Wines-Spirits-New-York_b3b0ad92.jpg?v=1791018385","url":"https:\/\/nyc.flatiron-wines.com\/products\/mastroberardino-taurasi-radici-riserva-2015","provider":"Flatiron Wines \u0026 Spirits NYC","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
