An eccentric blend of Grüner Veltliner, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Traminer (aka Savagnin) left to ferment on their skins for 5-7 days. The amber hue is the inspiration for the wine’s name: OKR, or ‘ochre’. Milan Nestarec is a superstar of the natural wine world, hailing from the Czech Republic. This is part of his “white label” collection, wines meant for every day drinking, both in terms of style and price. The structure is not towering, and it melds perfectly with the fruity and floral style of the wine. Moderately tannic, with complementary savory and floral notes.
