The house is unapologetically a red-wine producer at heart — Lagrein is the passion — which makes its two dry whites feel less like a commercial obligation and more like something they actually wanted to get right. The Pinot Grigio comes from hillside sites around Bolzano and Appiano between 260 and 500 metres, on calcareous gravel.
