In the cellar Giampiero Bea treats it like the top wine. The wine is raised in stainless steel and large Slovenian oak. Nothing is added except sulfur, and nothing is fined or filtered. That's how you'd expect it from a family whose lineage goes back 500 years. Bea's wines are wild, boisterous expressions of sun-drenched Umbrian hillsides, and this is a great place to start with them.
