Le Robbe is a mosty-Nero d'Avola blend that includes 230 year-old vines (!!!). The fruit comes from two sites: San Vicenzo and Torre di Salto d’Angio. The latter contains super-old vines of Nero d'Avola and some unknown indigenous white varieties that make up 15% of the blend. It's jazzy and fresh, with good length and concentration. Notes of citrus and rosewater, and richer flavors of cherry preserve and blackberry. Hard to resist!
