Beautiful Syrah from Hermitage that is quite approachable on release, but that will have no trouble cellaring for five to ten years. The trick here is that the vines grow in the eastern portion of the hill of Hermitage, away from the solid granite that produces such powerful Syrah. The soils here are more limestone and alpine, producing highly perfurmed, gorgeous Syrah.
