The Mancini family farms roughly 100 hectares across three sites — Balaiana, Lu Scolombrino and Montelittu — between 50 and 300 meters, mostly south-facing, just inland from the port of Olbia. Piero Mancini was a dentist who planted his first vines in the 1960s and opened the winery in 1989; his children Alessandro, Antonio and Laura run it now. This is 100% Vermentino, fermented off the skins at a cool 18°C to keep the aromatics intact and the wine bone-dry. It is the house white of the Costa Smeralda, and it does that job very well.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0125/1518/0601/files/Piero-Mancini-Vermentino-di-Gallura-2025-White-Wine-Flatiron-Wines-Spirits-New-York.jpg?v=1786113609
