It's 100% Chardonnay from their Grand Cru vines, with no reserve wines added, so each bottling is a snapshot of one harvest on Mesnil chalk. The vines are some of the oldest in the village (the family hasn't replanted a parcel in more than thirty years). Everything ferments in stainless steel with full malolactic, and there isn't a single barrel in the winery. The wines then age 24 to 36 months sur lattes before release. The name honors Pierre Moncuit, who started selling wine under his own name in 1928 while his wife, Odile Moncuit-Delos, helped him on the commercial side. Pierre's daughter Nicole has made the wines since 1977.
