"From the small Champagne region around Sézanne, this is a rounded, mouthfilling Chardonnay. It has ripe citrus and orange fruit flavors with a touch of apricot. It's a classic apéritif style." -Roger Voss

Champagne

Champagne boasts some of the world’s greatest luxury brands with Krug, Cristal and, of course, Dom Perignon. But it’s also home to hundreds of small dynamic producers—farmers who grow their own grapes (often organically) and make (often with natural methods) tiny amounts of pure and absolutely delicious wine that reflect the individual personalities of their villages and terroirs. Toast with these wines, for sure. But also treat them like the great wines they are: taste, drink, explore!

Lacy elegance at a fab value!

I know, I know, my descriptions can get out of control sometimes (#sorrynotsorry) but I said “lacy elegance” after the first sip, and the fourth, and the fourteenth. Then I appreciated the chalky concentration on the mid-palate. Then I realized the price! What a steal. If you like lean and finessed Blanc de Blancs, this one’s for you.
