{"product_id":"ravines-dry-riesling-argetsinger-vineyard-finger-lakes-2022","title":"Ravines, Dry Riesling Argetsinger Vineyard Finger Lakes, 2022","description":"Limestone is rare in the Finger Lakes, and the Argetsinger Vineyard is one of the few sites that has it: a steep, rocky hillside of Howard gravel over limestone on the southeast side of Seneca Lake. This dry Riesling comes from just 4 acres of vines planted in the early 1980s. The site is so low-vigour that it rarely gives even two tons of fruit per acre, so the vines do the concentrating and nobody in the cellar has to. Morten Hallgren grew up working his family's vineyards in Provence and was chief winemaker at Dr. Konstantin Frank before he founded Ravines. He has bottled this vineyard on its own since 2002. Ravines built its name on dry Riesling, and its 2002 Dry Riesling took top honors at the World Riesling Cup. If you still think New York Riesling means sweet, start here. The house makes it to drink well young and also to age, so it's worth putting a second bottle away.","brand":"Skurnik [MSK]","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":50787140632633,"sku":"NYC-W-MSK-`US-RVN-31-22`-101426-10","price":35.99,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0125\/1518\/0601\/files\/IMG-5085.jpg?v=1792178818","url":"https:\/\/nyc.flatiron-wines.com\/products\/ravines-dry-riesling-argetsinger-vineyard-finger-lakes-2022","provider":"Flatiron Wines \u0026 Spirits NYC","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
