Sklavos Wines (Sclavos / Sclavus), Robola De Cephalonie Vino Di Sasso, 2019

$24.99
Available for Same Day Delivery (or Pickup) in Manhattan.
Take a trip to the stony shores of Greece with this savory, herbal and intense white wine, made with the obscure and indigenous Robola grape. Vino di Sasso translates to "wine of stone", referring to the limestone soils that impart fantastic minerality. The Sklavos family has been making wine in Cephalonia for hundreds of years, and the vines are all old and own-rooted, with tiny yields; they're farmed organically with no fining, filtering and just a touch of SO2 used at bottling.
