Founded in 2007 when Nicola Oberto, his father Federico and family friend Vladimiro Rambaldi bought five hectares in the Berri sub-zone on La Morra's western edge — the name means \"three from Berri\" — the estate has become a reference for what young, energetic, terroir-driven Barolo can look like. The 2022 \"Comune di La Morra\" is largely Berri fruit (a cool, late-ripening sub-district), but because 2022 was hot and dry with low yields, the family folded in roughly 18% from their top site, Rocche dell'Annunziata.
