"The 2021 Riesling Rotschiefer Kabinett is from the Wawerner Ritterpfad and Wiltinger Klosterberg. Both lie on Permian rhyolite called Rotschiefer here, even though not technically slate. The nose has a savory aspect alongside wonderfully aromatic tangerine notes. The palate is endlessly succulent, fun, and animating, its light body and electric freshness skipping along with abandon. This juicy little number is very hard to resist. Full of joy with 23g/L of residual sweetness and 8.9g/L of acidity." -Vinous
