A more Nuits-St-George-y flavor profile. Still lots of acid, meaty, black pepper, wild character, orange peel, rose petals, spices, licorice fresh turned earth, cherry skin and the like. The oak needs to integrate more, but this could easily age for 10+ year kind of wine, but quite good. Fully destemmed, and spends 17 months in 50%NFO, only 50 cases produced.
