Favorite rose of the year is actually from 3 vintages ago, which might explain its allure. Its an intense, carefully macerated blend of Blaufränkisch and Pinot Noir that's had just enough time to meld perfectly, keep its fresh crunchy red fruits, spicy peppery notes, but display a cohesion often missing from lesser and younger bottles of rose. I just want to drink it all myself.
