The Savoie is a small, mountainous region, with unique terroir, local grapes and traditions. The Perrier family have been vignerons there since 1853. And while they've been at the forefront of quality innovations (they were the first to bottle their own production way back in 1947, when much of Burgundy still didn't), they are traditionalists where it counts: the farming is sustainable, they hand-harvest and the work in the winery lets the beautiful varietal and limestone-clay soils do the talking.
