From the volcanic soils around Hungary's Lake Balaton, this skin-contact Olaszrizling has flavors of fruit (apricot, tangerine), tea, sea salt, wildflowers and that inimitable smoke that comes from black basalt soils. It sees a whopping 3 months on the skins, but the tannins are suave and polished. An easy-to-love orange wine.
