Lieu Dit is a collaboration between Eric Railsback and Justin Willett, focused on Loire varieties grown in Santa Barbara County. Their Chenin Blanc comes from sandy, well-drained soils in the Santa Ynez Valley and is vinified with native yeasts and no heavy oak, keeping things fresh, textural, and true to grape and place.

The 2023 vintage shows bright pear, yellow apple, lemon peel, and a touch of chamomile, with saline minerality and a gentle waxy note that nods to its Loire cousins. The palate is clean and energetic, with enough texture to handle food but enough zip to drink on its own.
