From the esteemed Saint-Amour cru in Beaujolais, Billards’ Clos des Billards is a wine that demonstrates the region’s capacity for both lightness and depth. Sourced from the estate’s best parcel, the 2017 vintage showcases Gamay at its most refined, with both complexity and a core of purity.

Aged in old oak barrels, the wine brings a balance of dark fruit—black cherry, plum—with subtle spice and earthy undertones. The tannins are soft yet structured, giving the wine a fine backbone without overshadowing the bright fruit and floral notes.
