The Schoech family has roots in Ammerschwihr vineyards since 1650—serving as wine specialists, nurserymen, and brokers over the centuries. Maurice established the current estate in 1971; sons Jean-Léon and Sébastien joined in 1995. 27 acres on Ammerschwihr's hillsides plus parcels in five Grand Crus including Kaefferkopf and Mambourg. Organic certified (Ecocert) since 2014, though they practiced organic methods long before. 25 different cuvées annually. Classic Alsace Riesling: dry, cool-climate, with apple, peach, and intense minerality.
