"Young and still very strapping, the 2008 Barolo Riserva Bricco Boschis Vigna San Giuseppe is quite the powerhouse. Lavender, tobacco and licorice weave through a core of beautifully layered, dark-toned fruit. Tonight, the 2008 is exceptionally beautiful, vivid and polished. The only issue with the 2008 vintage is that it is surrounded by years that yielded more overt Barolos, specifically 2006 and 2010. The 2008 San Giuseppe was gorgeous upon release, just as it is tonight. Tasted from magnum." -Antonio Galloni
