"Hiedler's 2021 Grüner Veltliner Ried Käferberg 1ÖTW shows ripe pear aromas with a veil of yeast on the deep and concentrated nose. With a green bell pepper note on the palate, this is a dense and powerful Veltliner characterized by yeast management with crystalline and salty acidity, fine tannins and a youthful, still bitter finish. It still needs time. 13% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted in Grafenegg in September 2023." -Stephan Reinhardt

"Generous and textured, with a touch of oak lending brioche and salted butter richness. Smoky undertones add depth to the ripe orchard fruit, while a firm structure and good length make this a good choice for those who enjoy a fuller-bodied style." -Aleks Zecevic
