"The 2015 Amphitheater is a blend of 32% Cabernet Sauvignon, 23% Cabernet Franc, 22% Merlot, 17% petite Verdot, 5% Malbec and 1% Syrah. Aromas of oak spice, roasted herbs, dark chocolate and dusty plums waft from the glass with notions of purple flowers and potpourri. Medium to full-bodied, the wine reveals layers of complexity and a beautifully balanced mid-palate with succulent tannins and lifting acidity. It ends with a long-lingering and ever-evolving finish. The wine rested for 22 months in French oak barrels, 20% new, before being bottled. Only 1,200 cases were produced. Give it a try!" -Anthony Mueller

"A focused, well-knit red, with an expressive note of black currant preserves enriched by hints of ground coffee, date, Kalamata olive, graphite and iron. Despite the older vintage date, this is still concentrated, with good vitality and a number of years ahead of it. The spiced finish is firmed by fine-grained tannins. Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Malbec and Syrah."
