Burghound ♥Outstanding. "A restrained and brooding if fresh and ripe nose features notes of dark berry fruit, plum and violet nuances. There is fine detail to the punchy and mineral-inflected medium-bodied flavors that are impressively dense on the mouth coating and lengthy finish. This youthfully austere is perhaps a touch less refined than it usually is but it's notably more structured and concentrated."

Professional Reviews

Antonio Galloni

AG 92
"The 2016 Chambolle-Musigny Village has a delightful bouquet with redcurrant, cranberry, mint and light dried rose petal aromas, so elegant that you can almost miss the aromatic intensity. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannin. There is a fine bead of acidity here, lithe in texture, building in volume towards quite a weighty and persistent finish. This just exudes drinkability even at this early stage so be warned - this will be impossible to resist." -Vinous

Focus On: Burgundy

Burgundy has long been the world's most famous wine region. But, underneath all the prestige, this region can be hard to get to know.

While Burgundy offers many great trophies from top producers in well-known villages like Vosne Romanee and Puligny Montrachet, it also offers excellent values to anyone willing to explore beyond the famous names. Our collection– one of the largest in the U.S. – has plenty of both!

From the very basics of Burgundy's regions and wines to the specific terroirs of individual single vineyards--
everything you need to know about Bourgogne is just a click away!
