"The 2019 Verdicchio di Matelica Riserva Senex does not disappoint. It delivers a powerful bouquet of apricot, yellow peach and melon laced with candied lime. The Senex washes across the palate with real heft, displaying a pretty inner sweetness up front that is quickly contrasted by a whiplash of vibrant acidity. It’s long and stimulating to the senses, finishing with masses of herbal-laced citrus that cleanse the palate for another opulent sip.
