Tement’s 2023 Sauvignon Blanc “Kalk & Kreide” is a biodynamic blend from over 50 vineyards in Southern Styria rooted in limestone and chalk. It’s the estate’s signature regional wine, crafted to showcase the mineral precision of Südsteiermark terroir.

Grapes are hand-harvested and spontaneously fermented in stainless steel, then aged 6–12 months on the lees before bottling unfiltered. Bright, saline, and herbal, it’s a benchmark for Styrian Sauvignon Blanc.

"Kalk & Kreide" is the flagship of the Tement winery. It's 100% Sauvignon Blanc, mainly grown on coralline limestone soil (kalk in German) with some clay (kreide in German). After natural fermentation, the wine spends six months on the lees in stainless steel tanks.
