The fruit comes from dry-farmed vineyards on decomposed granite in the Paardeberg, and the wine is made with a light hand: partial whole cluster, gentle extraction, and aging in old oak.

The 2023 vintage is taut and aromatic—red cherry, rooibos, dried herbs, and graphite on the nose, with fine tannins and a savory, mineral spine on the palate. There’s no trace of the smoky, rubbery notes that Pinotage is sometimes known for. Instead, it’s precise, fresh, and full of quiet energy.
