The Gomez family's Albanta comes from granite slopes in O Rosal, Rias Baixas, where the cool Atlantic climate and permeable granite soils create whites of mineral tension and energy. The 2024 vintage, fermented in stainless steel with native yeasts and aged on fine lees, displays a floral nose with briny intrigue and white pear. Medium-bodied and creamy with a pronounced saline backbone, this is a modern expression of coastal Spanish Albariño that speaks to its ocean-influenced terroir. Organic farming, minimal intervention winemaking—this is wine that feels alive in the glass.
