Rémi Leroy, a grower in Meurville (Côte des Bar), produces this Extra Brut from organic vineyards on Kimmeridgian clay-limestone. The NV cuvée is based on 2022 with reserve wines from a solera started in 2009.

The blend is ~70% Pinot Noir and ~30% Chardonnay, fermented mostly in steel with some wood. Aged ~18 months on lees and finished with a low 2 g/L dosage, it’s mineral, chalky, and saline with refined depth.
