Bertrand Gautherot’s Saignée de Sorbée R20 is a striking Rosé Champagne from biodynamically farmed Pinot Noir on the Kimmeridgian slopes of the Aube. Made by bleeding (saignée) after short skin contact, it’s fermented with native yeasts in oak and bottled Extra Brut, showcasing vivid fruit and deep mineral drive.

This NV cuvée, based on the 2020 harvest, is an intense, textured grower Champagne that captures Vouette et Sorbée’s uncompromising terroir focus.

"The NV Extra-Brut Saignée de Sorbée flows with a big, super-ripe, almost-candied expression of red fruit. The wine reveals plenty of depth and richness, but ultimately comes across as a touch heavy. The very ripe style suggests that either yields were minuscule and/or a warm vintage makes up a large portion of the NV blend.
