This is an hommage to Taketsuru, who first studied whisky-making in Scotland before WWI and then brought his learnings back to Japan to found Nikka, making Scotch-like whiskies in Japan. Perhaps Nikka is less well-known than Suntory, but it is the favorite of many connoisseurs.
