Made in Tequila’s historic town center, Arette is a favorite among those who love traditionally crafted, no-nonsense tequila. Their Reposado spends a few months in ex-bourbon barrels, softening the edges while keeping the fresh, peppery agave notes intact. It’s a perfect middle ground between the bright zestiness of a Blanco and the deeper caramel tones of an Añejo.

Cooked agave, honey, and citrus peel lead, with layers of vanilla, cinnamon, and light oak rounding it out. The texture is smooth but still vibrant, with just enough spice and minerality to keep it interesting. Great on its own, over ice, or in a killer Reposado Margarita—this is high-quality tequila that doesn’t try too hard, but delivers every time.

More about Arette

Arette was founded in the early 1900s by the Orendain family—one of tequila's 'Founding Four' alongside Cuervo, Sauza, and Herradura. The name honors 'Arete,' the horse that won Olympic medals for Mexico in Jumping. They work 100% estate agave from fields around Tequila, Jalisco, and today the fifth-generation Orendains (Eduardo and Jaime) run El Llano distillery in the original building. This is tequila made by a family that's been at it for over 125 years.
