Made by the Suriol family in the Alt Penedès, Azimut Brisat is a joyful, skin-contact white that captures the energy of Catalonia’s natural wine movement. The 2024 vintage is a blend of local grapes like Parellada, Xarel·lo, Moscatell and Sumoll Blanc—grown organically and fermented with native yeasts on the skins for just the right amount of grip.

This isn’t an orange wine chasing intensity—it’s light on its feet, with notes of tangerine peel, apricot, and dried herbs, balanced by gentle tannins and a zippy, dry finish. No oak, no additives, just pure Mediterranean refreshment with a little extra edge.

Made for aperitivo hours, beach picnics, or whatever’s coming off the grill. Serve it cool, not cold, and don’t overthink it. Brisat is Catalan for “maceration,” but the real translation here is: fun, easy, and real.

Azimut is the natural wine project from the Suriol family's Cellers de Can Suriol del Castell—a 400-year-old winemaking family based in Alt Penedès, 60km west of Barcelona. They produce Cava and other wines from 100% organic, locally-farmed grapes, staying true to traditional Catalan varieties. These are low-ABV, crushable wines built for Mediterranean food and lifestyle. The name comes from the Arabic word for 'direction'—fitting for wines that know exactly where they're going.
