"From Schilfsandstein soils (reddish sandstone), the 2020 Spätburgunder Cleebronn opens with a clear, pure and quite reductive sour cherry bouquet with iodine notes. Silky, fresh and round on the palate, this is a medium-bodied, aromatic and charming but rather tight and sincere Pinot Noir with a stimulating finish. It has good length and fleshy and finely tannic fruit. Tasted in April 2022 as a tank sample ready to be bottled." -Robert Parker
