Domaine de la Pinte stands as one of the Jura’s great traditionalists, farming biodynamically across prime blue marl slopes outside Arbois. While their whites are celebrated for their crystalline precision, their reds—especially their Trousseau—capture the region’s lighter, wilder side with effortless grace.
The 2023 vintage Trousseau is a vibrant, naturally expressive wine. Fermented with native yeasts and minimal intervention, it leads with aromas of crushed raspberries, redcurrants, pink peppercorn, and dried herbs. On the palate, it’s juicy and lithe, with a delicate tannic grip and a whisper of earthy, smoky minerality underneath.
There’s an Alpine freshness that makes it endlessly drinkable—serve it lightly chilled to bring out its wild, high-toned beauty. It’s the kind of red that feels more like an experience than just a bottle—nimble, pure, and alive.
