Vinous, savory and wonderfully compelling, this coferment from the Shenandoah Valley is a great example of what's exciting in this up-and-coming region right now. The cepage is 49% Vidal blanc, 31% Petit Manseng, 8% Chambourcin, 8% Noiret, and 4% Traminette; skin contact ranges from six weeks for the Vidal to four days for the reds. It's all cofermented semi-carbonic for a big delicious field-blend orange wine.
