"The 2016 Barolo Rocche di Castiglione is absolutely gorgeous. Initially a bit austere, the 2016 opens up beautifully with a bit of air. Sweet red cherry, rose petal, mint, dried herbs, licorice and dried herbs give the 2016 striking layers of dimension. This super-classic, mid-weight Barolo will thrill readers who appreciate traditionally-styled wines. Naturally, the 2016 needs cellaring to be at is best, as the tannins are quite youthful." -Vinous
