Yes, it says White Zinfandel on the label—but this is Turley, so you know it’s the real deal. Made from organically farmed, head-trained old vines in Napa Valley, this rosé is whole-cluster pressed and fermented dry, with no residual sugar and plenty of zip.

The 2023 vintage is vibrant and mineral-driven, with crunchy red fruit, citrus zest, and a clean, mouthwatering finish. There’s a touch of texture from time on lees, but otherwise it’s all about clarity and balance. It's playful in spirit, but serious in execution—essentially a field-grown rosé with a nod to California history and a wink to the modern palate.

For fans of Provençal rosé, fresh natural wines, or just a really well-made pink wine that won’t embarrass the label, Turley’s White Zinfandel is both a conversation starter and a crowd-pleaser.

What importer Skurnik Wines has to say about this wine...

California AVA
100% Native yeast
100% used French oak
7 months in barrel
Bottled unfined
12.5% Alc
This Provençal-style reimagining of California’s infamous rosé wine was conceived of by Larry’s eldest daughter, Christina, while she was still working as a sommelier in New York City; she credits that wine’s success as the impetus behind her landing on both Forbes’ “30 Under 30” list as well as Wine Enthusiast’s “40 under 40.” But this bright, crisp rosé can be enjoyed by anyone at any age—as long as they’re over 21, of course!

Great, but preferred 2022

The '22 was Provencal style, elegant, and crisp, while the '23 is bright, full-flavor, and berry forward, more like a Grenache-style rose. I drank both side by side and found the '23 to be more classic White Zin than the previous vintage. That said, it's a great wine to sip chilled in the summer, as it's refreshing, fruity, and balanced!
