Versio Francesco may not be a household name (yet), but his Barbaresco is a beautiful expression of traditional winemaking and humble precision. Sourced from hillside vineyards near Neive, the 2021 vintage brings a vibrant, structured frame to this already elegant wine—a cool year with freshness and clarity, perfect for showcasing Nebbiolo’s aromatics and fine bones.

Expect notes of sour cherry, cranberry, and blood orange, layered with dried rose petals, anise, and a subtle earthy spice. The tannins are present but refined, giving structure without harshness, and the acidity keeps the wine lifted and energetic.
