Named after the French phrase for 'very cosy,' Tout Pres features three distinct soil slopes—black volcanic over limestone, quartz gravel with ironstone, and sandy loam—each contributing distinct characteristics. The 2022 vintage, fermented with 100% whole bunches in a five-tonne oak fermenter and aged in 100% new French oak, expresses ripe berries, sweet spice, and earthy notes layered with graphite and pepper complexity. This is a powerful expression of Geelong terroir—approachable in its ripe fruit character but demanding in structure and aging potential. The palate evolves with time in bottle, rewarding patient collectors and contemplative drinkers alike.
