"Fermented for nearly three years and bottled in April 2022, the 2018 Chardonnay R opens with an intense but refined, precise, elegant, finely chalky and lemony bouquet with discreet flinty notes. This is stunning for such a warm and dry vintage! Round and salty-piquant on the palate, this is a full-bodied and generous but also refined and elegant Chardonnay with stimulating lemon bitters on the chalky finish. This is a round and generous, quite hedonistic Chardonnay. 13% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted at the domaine in April 2022."
