"Wittmann's 2020 Brunnenhäuschen GG is clear, pure and elegant on the coolish nose that reveals ripe, fresh and slightly citric fruit with chalky notes. Silky, filigreed and frisky yet also dense and intense and salty on the palate, this is a sustainable, super expressive terroir wine with a tight structure and persistent salinity. A great dry Riesling from Westhofen's limestone terroir. Tasted in Wiesbaden at the end of August 2021."
