Le Brun Servenay capitalizes on quality and terroir expression, with their abundance of old vines and winemaking techniques. The Melodie en C is from 40 year old plots, fermentation is done in stainless steel tanks, there is no malolactic conversion, each bottle is hand riddled, and very little dosage is added at bottling after three years of aging sur latte.

This is a non-vintage blanc de blancs, blended from four different years and sourced exclusively from the Grand Cru villages of Avize, Oger and Cramant where the average vine age is an impressive 40 years. The base vintage is 2017 (with 2016, 2015, and 2014 reserve), with 30-35% reserve wines roughly equal parts of three prior vintages.
