This small artisanal estate sold most of its vineryards to Mouton-Rothschild about 20 years ago. What remains is about a single hectare of prime Pauillac terroir, near Mouton and just across the street from Pontet Canet, which is farmed sustainably and hand-harvested by vigneron Yannick Mirande. The resulting wine is one of undoubtable cru classé quality, and a reminder of how rivetingly terroir-expressive Bordeaux can be.
