The Chevrot brothers farm at the southern edge of Côte de Beaune, 100-200 meters higher than the famous slope—high enough that the climate shifts noticeably cooler and crisper. Organic since 2008, they've earned the terroir, not the hype. This Hautes Côtes de Beaune Blanc is 100% Chardonnay on blue marl soils, and the altitude shows immediately: pronounced acidity and minerality that makes this wine feel alive and precise. The 2023 vintage is leaner than ripe years, which is exactly what you want from this elevation.
