"The 2010 Fleurie Cuvée Tardive is showing beautifully, unwinding in the glass with a lovely bouquet of black cherries, smoke, rose petals and summer truffles. On the palate, it's full-bodied, deep and multidimensional, with an ample chassis of fine tannin and considerable concentration at the still-youthful core. Out of the gates, the 2010 Cuvée Tardive wasn't as lavish and dramatic as the 2009, but with almost a decade on the clock, the gap is closing: the 2010 is shedding its tannins and remains exceptionally pure and vibrant thanks to its somewhat higher acidity. This is an example of a nine-year-old Beaujolais that still possesses plenty of upside!" -Robert Parker
