"Planting densities are a Côte d'Or-like 10,000 vines/ha; les Morieres is a steep vineyard next to Moulin- à-Vent zone, creating a marriage of the two. A distinctly peppery and spicy nose is comprised by notes of earth, plum and various dark berries. The supple, caressing and forward middleweight flavors possess an easy-going yet nicely punchy mouthfeel before terminating in a ever-so-mildly tangy finish where a hint of rusticity slowly emerges. This could be enjoyed now or held for another 2 to 3 years first, which is what I would suggest. Fine value."
